Winter Retreat Raffle Official Rules & Regulations
You are responsible for reading these official rules and regulations.
General Terms & Tax Exemption
The purchase of a raffle ticket is not treated as a tax-deductible contribution by the IRS. This raffle is intended to be conducted in accordance with the Illinois Raffles and Poker Runs Act, 230 ILCS 15/0.01 et seq., and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, ordinances, and licensing requirements. Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel’s obligations under these Official Rules are subject to, and conditioned upon, compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, postpone, or terminate the raffle, or to modify the method of prize award, if Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel determines, in its sole discretion, that doing so is necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable law, governmental guidance, licensing requirements, or the direction of any governmental authority. In such event, Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel shall have no liability except as expressly set forth in these Official Rules.
Entrant Requirements
Complete full first and last name, email address, required mailing address (street, city, state, zip), and phone number must be entered in order for the ticket to be an eligible raffle entry. By purchasing or accepting a raffle ticket, each entrant represents and warrants that he or she is at least twenty-one (21) years of age, is legally eligible to participate in the raffle, is not prohibited by applicable law or these Official Rules from participating, and has provided true, accurate, and complete contact and eligibility information. Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel may disqualify any entrant or winner who fails to satisfy these requirements or whose entry information is incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, illegible, or unverifiable.
Drawing Date & Conditions
The Winter Retreat Raffle Drawing will be held on September 24th, conditioned on selling a minimum of 1,000 tickets by that date. If the 1,000-ticket minimum is not met, the drawing will be extended once to October 6th. The odds of winning depend on the number of tickets sold.

All travel prizes must be booked, completed, and fully redeemed during the upcoming winter season, specifically defined as the period between December 1, 2026, and March 31, 2027. Prizes are non-transferable, and no other prize substitutions or alternate cash equivalents are permitted except for the specified grand prize and second prize cash alternatives. Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to provide a substitute prize or package component of equivalent or greater value if any advertised prize becomes unavailable. Claiming Prizes & Verification
To claim any prize offered by Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel, the winner must present a valid government-issued photo I.D., Social Security number (or equivalent thereof), and proof of insurance or additional documentation if required for travel packages. Regardless of the prize choice, the winner must submit a photo of themselves or a video testimonial in order to claim the prize. Winners consent to the use of their names, likenesses, and photographs without compensation for publicity purposes to help promote Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel and its programs.
As a condition to receiving any prize, the potential winner must timely complete, sign, notarize if requested, and return all documents reasonably required by Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel, including, as applicable, an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, tax forms, liability release, publicity release, and prize acceptance form. If a potential winner fails or refuses to complete such documents within the time required, is determined to be ineligible, cannot be contacted, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel may select an alternate winner by random drawing from among the remaining eligible entries.
Taxes & Expenses
All taxes, including all federal, state, local, sales, withholding tax, and any other taxes or government fees of any type whatsoever are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Travel expenses, licensing, registration, incidental fees, upgrades, and any other expenses not explicitly stated herein are the winner’s sole responsibility. The winner is encouraged to consult with a tax advisor or specialist to determine the tax consequences of any prize selection. Sponsor is not responsible for any costs related to the winner's transportation to collect or claim their prize.
Winner Notification & Unclaimed Prizes
The winner(s) of the raffle will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the closing date and time. The winner(s) will be notified by Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel via phone or email within 24 hours of the raffle pull. If Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel is unable to reach the winner(s) within 7 days of the initial notification, then the prize will be deemed unclaimed and a new winner(s) may be drawn at random.
Modification, Cancellation & Refunds
Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel reserves the right at any time and from time to time to, at its sole discretion, modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the raffle with or without prior notice for any reason whatsoever. In such event, a participant’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be to receive a refund of the full price paid by such participant for each ticket purchased without interest (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected, or actual fraud). The decision of Yeshivas Netzach Yisroel in all matters relating to the prize draw and any prize is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
